When I was younger, I never liked having my photo taken. The posed ones never felt like me. But every once in a while, someone would catch me mid-laugh, deep in thought, or lost in a moment - and those were the images I held onto. 

That truth is at the heart of everything I do.

My journey into photography began as a way to document the fleeting moments of my daughter and beloved pets - little pieces of our everyday life that I never wanted to forget. As a teacher, I brought photography into the classroom, helping students explore the world through a creative lens but everything shifted the day I photographed my first couple - I knew I had found my calling.

Now, heading into my fourth wedding season, I feel incredibly lucky to do this work. For me, photography isn’t just a career. It’s a way of honouring people’s stories.

I don’t want to be someone who simply shows up to take photos. I want to show up to co-create art with you. That means having time and tuning into what matters most to you, creating space for presence and emotion, and collaborating in a way that feels natural and true to who you are.

My style is guided documentary - a blend of candid storytelling with gentle direction when it matters most. I’ll step in when needed to adjust the light, fix a flyaway, or offer a prompt that brings out a real reaction - but otherwise, I let your day unfold organically. It’s about preserving what’s real while making sure you feel confident and at ease.

I focus on timeless composition, true-to-colour tones, and sincere emotion - all captured through a mix of digital and 35mm film.

Travel is a big part of who I am, and one of the most rewarding parts of this work is getting to document love stories in the places that mean the most to my couples - whether that’s close to home or across the world. New landscapes, new light, and new people always inspire fresh creativity, and I’m endlessly grateful for the opportunities to combine my love of adventure with my love of storytelling.
