I never loved having my photo taken when I was younger. The posed moments never felt like me, but the images I cherished were the ones captured in between, mid-laugh, lost in thought, or fully present. That truth is the foundation of everything I do as a Halifax based wedding photographer.
Photography became my calling the day I photographed my first couple. Now, heading into my fifth wedding season, I approach photography as both art and collaboration, creating space for presence, ease, and emotion so your day never feels interrupted by the camera.
My approach is guided documentary, blending candid storytelling with gentle editorial direction when it matters most. I photograph with a mix of digital and 35mm film, focusing on timeless composition, true-to-colour tones, and sincere emotion.
With dual citizenship and with my passports ready to go, I am honoured to document your love stories across Canada and Europe.
In my early twenties, while working as a care aide and finding my way, I spent quiet hours listening to the elderly residents share stories from lives richly lived. Many held onto a single photograph that still meant the world to them. It was there I learned how deeply images endure, and how preserving a moment can mean preserving a life, a feeling, a love long after time has passed.
